To begin his path to the Tiger Cub rank, the Tiger Cub (1st grader) must learn the Cub Scout promise, the Cub Scout sign, and the Cub Scout salute. When he has learned these, he gets his Bobcat badge.

As a boy finishes each Tiger Cub achievement, he earns an a belt loop.  Once he’s earned the five main achievements he can will have earned his Tiger badge.  After he’s earned his Tiger badge, he will work towards electives and earn more belt loops.

All belt loops and badges are given out at the beginning of Pack meetings.
